Camelback tour : 12 days / 11 nights

Day 1: Amman Airport / Madaba
Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport. Transfer to Madaba for dinner and an overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2: Madaba / Wadi Rum
Transfer to Wadi Rum ("the moon valley") : one of the most awe inspiring mountain deserts in the world. It brings to mind a dramatic moonscape of ancient valleys and towering weathered sandstone mountains rising out of the pink and white sand. Drop off by Seven Pillars of Wisdom to start hiking via Wadi Em Eshreen (one of the highest hills in the area), sand dunes to the rock of inscriptions, continue to Barah canyon. Dinner and camping.

Day 3: Wadi Rum
After breakfast, camel ride via Barrah canyon, the magnificent Siq with big dunes, the Nabatean dam (water pools). Continue via Khor El-Aajram to Burdah Rock Bridge (climb the most famous natural bridge for sunset). Dinner and camping.

Day 4: Wadi Rum
Breakfast. Camel ride to Um-Fruth Rock Bridge via Um–Sabatah (Red canyon) ,to sunset point overlooking Jabal Qattar. Continue to Khazal. Dinner and camping. 


Day 5: Wadi Rum / Humaima
Breakfast. Camel ride to visit Kazali canyon of inscriptions, and continue to Wadi Shelaali (valley of the water fall), spring of Lawrence, visit the the Nabatean temple. Afternoon hike to Al Kharaza bridge, and to Humaima. Dinner and camping.


 Day 6: Humaima / Beer Hammad / Wadi Sabra
After breakfast, camel ride to Beer Hammad where the old caravan road connects to Wadi Sabra and Petra, the capital of the Nabatean. Camp near spring water on the caravan road. Dinner and camping .

Day 7: Wadi Sabra / Petra
Breakfast. Camel ride to Wadi Sabra with a beautiful canyon on caravan road of the Nabatean and Roman times. Along the way, you will see a lot of trees, water and a small theater from the Nabatean era. Dinner and overnight stay in a Bedouin cave inside Petra.


Day 8: Petra and Jabal Aron
Camel ride to Jabal Haron for sunrise (the highest mountain in Petra, and the most spiritual place related to the legend on Aron, brother of Moses (1450m above sea level). Breakfast and continue hiking back for 7 hours to Al Madras, and the High Place of Sacrifice. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel in Wadi Musa, Petra.

Day 9: Petra / Little Petra
Breakfast. Full day hike to visit Petra : the Siq (a narrow stunning gorge in the rock),  Al Kaznah (the Treasury), the Royal Tombs, the theater, the colonnated street, up to the Monastery, and continue to Little Petra via the secret Nabatean back road. Dinner and camping. 

Day 10: Little Petra / Al Farish / Wadi Araba
Breakfast. Camel ride to visit Little Petra, Al farish, and see the beautiful view of Wadi Araba. Continue down to Wadi Araba. Dinner and camping.

Day 11: Wadi Araba / Dead Sea / Mount Nebo / Madaba
Breakfast. Transfer to Dead Sea, via Wadi Araba. Along the way, you will see the natural dam of Wadi Mujib after a 2 hour hike. Continue to Dead Sea for relaxing and swimming. After a short drive, you will arrive to Mount Nebo, the alleged burial site of Moses, overlooking the Jordan Valley and Dead Sea. Transfer to Madaba. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 12: Madaba / Amman Airport
Transfer to Queen Alia International Airport.
