Day 3: Dana / Wadi Feynan This morning you’ll make an early start for your trek through Wadi Dana to reach Wadi Feynan below: from Dana village, you’ll descend into Wadi Dana itself. The first part of the day is the steepest, as you descend to the Wadi floor. The vegetation starts with olive trees, wild herbs and low bushes. En route you’ll pass a couple of springs (Qussaib and Atta) which support both the vegetation and of course the wildlife. Although rough underfoot in places, the trail is easy to follow and apart from having to skirt the odd boulder, it’s downhill going all the way. You “officially” leave Dana Nature Reserve when you exit the Wadi and find yourself standing on the edge of the desert. Overnight in a private camp.
