The itinerary below is an example of the varied activities you can do, combining "must-see" with authentic ways to travel in Jordan ! You can explore crusader castles, immerse in ancient civilizations in Petra, discover the ancestral art of mosaic in Madaba, appreciate desert life in Wadi Rum, relax on the Red Sea shore, feel like an adventurer while hiking or donkey riding in the mountains... ! You will also have a chance to meet local people, discover Bedouin lifestyle, while having tea with families and spending nights in their tent or cave.

Day 1: Amman Airport / Dana
Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport. Transfer to Dana Village for dinner and an overnight stay in hotel.

Day 2: Dana / Showbak / Feynan (Al Whidat)
Transfer to Showbak, about 1 hour drive from Dana village. Possibility to visit Showbak castle, a 12th century crusader fortress perched on the side of a rocky mountain. You may find the "secret stairs" to go down to the village below! Start the hike between 5 and 6 hours with a very beautiful view and landscape in a natural reserve with many different kind of trees. The hike will be with donkeys for the children. Arrival in the afternoon to Al Whidat camp in the mountains of Wadi Feynan. Evening and night with a Bedouin family in their traditional tents. A first glimpse into the Bedouin culture!

Day 3: Feynan (Al Whidat) / Little Petra
After breakfast, start the hike to Little Petra by donkey through Al Farch, beautiful view of the desert and mountains of Little Petra. Along the way, we will meet local Bedouins living in the region. There, we can stop and see how they are living, and share some tea. By the evening, arrival to Little Petra from the back way. From there, visit Little Petra and camp with a Bedouin family.

Day 4: Little Petra / Petra
After breakfast, start the hike with donkeys and be prepared to enter the amazing ancient city of Petra, by beautiful cliffs from the back road to the Monastery ("Al Deir"), with a beautiful view of the site. Arrive to the Monastery and then visit the site of Petra for the rest of the day. Visit a Bedouin family in their cave, and overnight stay in the cave with them. There goes on the adventure: experience life in a cave, like Nabateans already did 2000 years ago!

Day 5: Petra
After breakfast, visit the High Place of Sacrifice and Wadi Farasa (lion fountain, tomb of roman solider, the garden temple) and enjoy the view from above on the ancient city of Petra. There, we overlook the Monastery from the top of the mountains and the Roman Theater and Royal Tombs. In the afternoon, visit the Treasury, called Al Khazneh, and then back through one of the most beautiful canyon in Petra, the Siq (1200 meter), where all members of the family will feel like adventurous explorers ! At the end of this exciting day, you can have some rest at your hotel in Wadi Musa. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Petra / Wadi Rum
After breakfast, transfer from Petra to the magical site of Wadi Rum, to enjoy the desert by jeep with a Bedouin driver. You will have the chance to follow in T.E. Lawrence's footsteps through Lawrence's spring, Al Khazali, Umm Fruth, Lawrence house, sand dunes, Burdah Mountain, Anfaishiyya inscriptions, Barrah Canyon, then dinner and sleep under the beautiful stars or in tents. Camping.

Day 7: Wadi Rum
Breakfast, then start your day to discover Wadi Rum hiking. Dinner and sleep under the stars or in tents. Camping.

Day 8: Wadi Rum / Aqaba / Madaba
After breakfast, we drive with the jeep back to Wadi Rum village, and change the car to drive to Aqaba, on the Red Sea shore, where you can swim, snorkel, dive or relax for the rest of the day. In the evening, we drive on the desert highway to Madaba. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 9: Madaba / Mount Nebo / Amman Airport
After breakfast, we visit the city of Madaba, notably Saint Georges Church, nestling the famous mosaic map of Palestine, and Mount Nebo, offering breathtaking views on the wide valley. Transfer to the airport.
