All meals such as breakfast, lunch and dinner are included and with every meal, you can enjoy nice Bedouin tea. Camping equipment and the jeep assistance are also included for the hiking days.

Day 1: Arrival day
Meeting and assistance at the airport and transfer to Petra. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 2: Petra main monuments
After breakfast, full day visit of the ancient city of Petra: entrance through the Siq (a narrow stunning gorge in the rock), Al-Kazna ("the treasury", the most impressive monument), the Royal Tombs, the theater, the colonnaded street..., and we will go via the secret Nabateaen route to Wadi Muaysra Sharkiyya (canyon with a lot of Nabateaen monuments) and Little Petra. Overnight camping.

Petra Hikes (6 Days)

​​​Day 3: Little Petra / Petra

After breakfast, trekking visit of Little Petra. Stone age village via Siq Grab (natural canyon) to visit Badah (Nabatean agricultural fields and water irrigation system), via the shade of mountains overlooking Araba canyon to the Monastery (Nabatean temple) inside the ancient city of Petra. From there, we go down to the City centre, visit the Museum, the temple of Qasr El-Bint, and continue to the Snake monument, south of Petra and overlooking Petra centre. Overnight camping.

Day 4: Jabal Aron and Wadi Sabra

Early morning, climb to Jabal Aron for sun rise: the highest mountain in Petra (1450m above sea level), and the most spiritual place linked to the legend of Aron, brother of Moses). Breakfast on the top, and continue hiking to Wadi Sabra (red canyon with trees, water streams and a small theater from the Nabatean times. Wadi Sabra used to be a caravan station. Afternoon hike back to the same camp site. Dinner and overnight camping.

Day 5: High Place of Sacrifice and Wadi Farasa

After breakfast, hike to visit of the famous monuments in Wadi Farasa: the Lion Monument, the Garden Temple complex the Roman soldier tomb... Then, climb to the High Place of Sacrifice, with its obelisk and sacrificial altar, and hike in Al-Madras mountains (school area from the Nabatean time). End of afternoon, hike back to the center of Petra. Overnight in a hotel in Petra/Wadi Musa.

Day 6: Departure day

Transfer to your airport.​
